Riding surface in area down by the river was mostly dirt/mud and may be impassible if water level is is, but gravel resumes pretty quickly as you move away from river level. Road seems to be fairly well maintained overall, but had some ruts in the steeper sections of the climb up to the ridge top. View is very nice from on top, particularly when the leaves are off the trees.
