South of MM the road follows the North Fork of Eau Claire River through mixed forest. Small but pretty Hamilton Falls is a scenic high point. North of MM the road moves into rolling farmland and takes a straight route. Saw deer and wild turkeys on my November ride. Connects to other gravel stretches
