Mostly gravel with a couple asphalt sections before and after Samaria. Fun ride! I passed one vehicle on the Pocatello Valley Road, and one in Samaria.

I did this route May 2024. The area is beautiful but unfortunately, a lot of this route is now paved (Pocatello Valley Road, most of 10000 West, and 6700 South Samaria Road). I'd say this route is now about 50/50 paved/gravel.

Great route. I went counter clockwise so the bigger climb was at the end. I just parked a couple miles down the road in Portage in a parking lot to get off the road from the exit.
