Only utilize the southern end of the road if you have some SERIOUS 4WD capabilities. I used to love mudding through it on a four wheeler in the spring, but anything much wider snd you may be in for a world of hurt. I know from experience. I spent 4 hours with a come a long and a lot of cursing one muggy afternoon. Fun little rip though.
