Great trail - would consider it underbiking with gravel bike. Loose rocks on climb and descent under powerline (0.2 m diameter). Recommend carrying on to Hydro Tower lookout on the climb and doubling back to the entrance to the descent. DO NOT go down the trail at the Hydro Tower Lookout on a bike! Descent has drops of 0.3 -0.5 m. Academy trail is one way during times of Covid - and it goes away from the lake. So need to turn left at bottom of trail and comeback to the lake by the main entrance via pumphouse road..
