Route originated from http://thebear100.com/routes/
This ride started tough with sloppy mud and wet snow. I made it about 20 miles in 2 hours which was slow as hell. But after that, it opened up and there was a lot of good gravel and dirt to ride on. I enjoyed a nice sandwich for lunch which kept me going for this long ride. For hydration, I packed two water bottles with Nuun hydration tablets and my Camelbak reservoir. I probably could have used a little more water though.
I was cruising for a while after lunch up until 20 miles left where I hit an unused ATV trail with trees knocked over the trail, deep ATV ruts, and puddles. I had to hop on and off and hike my bike several times which really slowed me down. After I got through that mess, the rest of the ride was a battle. I faced long uphills and my legs started to get a little sore
