Rough in some places. Starting in Keene will allow you to easily find parking. There is parking on Eastern Ave. or park at Walmart or the Keene State College public parking area off of Winchester.

There are very wet spots in the autumn in the granite cutaway areas. The wetness is also caused by 4-wheeler vehicles accessing the trail from other trails in the woods.
